Profish has installed a new RFID fish detection system at the Eastern Dender river near Ath, Belgium. It consists of 4 detection antennas, which were manufactured in our workshop and are now recording the movements of previously marked fish over a period of 2 months (roach, gudgeon, perch and pike). The first results were very positive given the expected efficiency and attractiveness of this new fish pass.
